Investment market in building automation

The home automation market in Brazil is growing at full speed. It is estimated that by 2025, the sector’s revenue will reach 16 billion reais, generating an average annual growth of 20%.

The Brazilian Association of Residential and Building Automation (Aureside) estimated that in 2020 there were about 2 million homes in the country with some type of equipment or device intended for home automation. For comparison purposes, according to the same association, in 2016 there were about 300 thousand residences in the same requirement.

Worldwide, growth projections are also positive. According to research and estimates by Verified Market Research, the global home automation market was valued at US$44 billion in 2020. For 2028, worldwide growth is projected to reach US$97 billion, an annual growth of around of 10%.
